Stuck...Please help

I've got the upper intake manifold off, along with the Throttle body, all ignition components, and Alternator, but I'm stuck at the fuel component removal. I've got one fuel line connection that's being VERY stubborn...or I'm doing something wrong. I picked up the 'fuel line removal tools' (little plastic rings), and it worked on one of the fuel lines, but not this other one.

Also, I need someone to explain to me how to remove the fuel injector wires. I can't seem to figure out this wiring harness connector for the life of me.

Here's pics.

Try to pull on the female side of the fuel line while twisting the disconnect tool. On the connector just take a screwdriver and pry up the green tab It will unlock the connector.

Have you tried a hammer?

Thanks Stonefox. I figured out the fuel injector connection about 15 minutes after I posted. I just needed to 'convince' it to come off, with a little prying with a screwdriver.

The fuel line didn't even need to come off. I just left the fuel line attached to the fuel rail, and swung the whole peice out of the way.

I finally got everything back together this afternoon. Took about 18 hours total, including all the snags and hiccups. The gasket sealer said I need to wait 24 hours before putting the fluids back in the engine...so I've got a few mour hours before I can fire it up and see if it (hopefully) runs.

I saw a LOT of really dumb design flaws in this motor. Bolts in places they shouldn't have been, no gasket where there clearly should have been a gasket, some of the vacuum lines are a hard, brittle plastic...broke with the slightest pressure.

Oh yeah...and of course, there's one large bolt left over. It looks like an alternator/power steering mounting bolt...but all of those were put back in place.
