Cam swap with out alot of hassle sounds like a good thing. The one item that worries me if I was to try a swap myself is removing and then installing the crank pulley. With this set up, cam swaps would go much easier. What you think? A little pricey though.

Removing the crank pulley is pretty easy with a 3 jaw puller. I borrowed one from RCowan and had my stock pulley off and the new one on in just a few minutes.
{edit} That was on an FBody though.. Might not be so easy on your Corvette.

Looks like you'd have to pull the pulley off anyways, just to get the 2 peice cover on in the first place...you might as well swap the cam at that time...I mean, how many times are you going to swap the cam?
I can understand if you're doing it for the high-flow oil pump clearance...or if you have 2 cams...one for track and one for street...other than that, it just ain't worth it. But what do I know...I've never worked on an LSx engine.

For the 97-04 Y-body the front steering rack needs to be removed. This part would eliminate this task.
