I really wouldn't mind having a .357 SIG, but I was wondering if you had checked them out. Check out the Cor-Bon specs on the .357 MAG and the .357 SIG
You can get it in about any pistol now. Even if the company doesn't make one (Like Ruger), you can get a drop in barrel to convert it. The .357 SIG uses a .40 S&W brass, that is necked down to a 9mm/.357 size lead. They even make a conversion kit for the Browning High-Powers. Ofcourse you have to start with a .40 S&W pistol. http://www.efkfiredragon.com/prodde...=BH357SB&cat=29
You could probably even hand load your precious 125gr wad cutters for it
Standard Cor-Bon self defense ammo
357MAG 110gr JHP 1500fps/555ftlbs
357MAG 125gr JHP 1450fps/584ftlbs
357MAG 140gr JHP 1325fps/546ftlbs
357SIG 115gr JHP 1500fps/575ftlbs
357SIG 125gr JHP 1425fps/564ftlbs
Pow'R Balls
Pow'Rball 357 Magnum 100gr Pow'Rball 1600fps/568ftlbs
Pow'Rball 357SIG 100gr Pow'Rball 1600fps/568ftlbs

You should, it's a pretty potent round. Get ya one of these, Browning High Power, and that conversion barrel.
Springfield also makes their new XD series in .357SIG LINK

Nice link, thanks, I read the review on the BHP and I tend to agree, it's a real sweet no frills gun. Mine is the "original" 13-shot Belgium Fabrique Nationale model, and I hesitate to modify it because it's a dead stock valuable piece. No telling how many people I've shot with it too, just too many to count. Plus the fact, if you shoot someone with a modified gun, then you get a lot more hassle (if you get caught).
Guys...if you don't know me by now............I'm frigging JOKING, okay already???????
