I have a VW beetle and its going to die on me and I need a new car. I am looking at a Saturn and wonder if they are good (it has 75,000 miles on it). I also need a radar detecgtor too, so let me know which ones are the best. I dont have a lot of money to spend.

Can't tell you much about saturns, but they are probibly as good as any other economy car if properly maintained.

Dunno nothin bout radar detectors either.

From what I've seen in cars, the Cobra Radar Detectors seem to be a pretty good bang for the buck.

Welcome to the site, I have a Pasport 8500 that I love, the Valvoline is also a very good radar detector. Dont waste your money on the invisible SR7 rom passport,if you wreck it is gone. Also the radar scramblers dont really work also. Check out this website, it is what convinced me to buy my 8500, well scratch that idea, cannot find the link, I will keep looking for it and post it when I find it.

Dont really know anything about saturns either.

What year is the beetle? If it's a classic, I'd say fix it up...Might be cheaper just to repair or rebuild the engine, plus it'll be better on gas....
