What is the quikest way to drive an auto.

i have a 94 t bird 4.6L auto, just wondering if leaving it on D and lsaming on the gas is good or if i should start of in 1st then 2nd then D? n e sugestions?

I would just leave it in D, atleast that what I used to do in my mom's 94 t-bird

Come out of the hole in 1st, click into 2nd and right back into 1st to hold it into 2nd gear. Then click D to go into 3rd.

'94-97 Tbirds all used the 4R70W trans,and the best results with thaty trans will be with leaving it in Drive,and letting the EEC control the shifts.
Honestly-be easy onthat '94 4R70W though..they're a ticking timebomb.the roller OWC used on the intermediate clutch is a guaranteed failure,and should be replaced with the nearly indestructible Mechanical Diode OWC.
There are a few other updates for the 4R70W that are already in the '98-up 4R70W's,so it's best to just buy either a core to rebuild,or a good low-mileage unit to swap it out with.
If you've got questions,lemme know..I've built quite a few of them,and they're not too bad.
