350 out of a 1970 Impala

Anyone know the specs for this certain motor? I am thinking of buying it and would like to know the details cause the seller doesnt really know I guess.

Lol sorry to be repetitive but is this a good motor also? Its a 350 out of a chevelle, beleive the year was seventy something. Here is the block number 3970014.

What happened to your 350?

Any 350 is gonna be good for that firebird. Put a comp cams (pt# 268H) in there. It's the highest cam you can goto without changing the converter.

Well turns out my 350 is either a 305 or a 350 with 305 heads. I cant get to the block number without disassembling the engine I think.

look behind the cyl. head on the drivers' side of the engine. It's should be cast in there where the engine bolts to the transmission.
