Chris is a dickhead! There's one in every bunch. I remember when that was on TV, and all of his posts over a LS1.com related to it. There's some pretty fast street LS1's out there, but he's full of it!

I do know a guy in Tampa (name is Al) and he has a 383 LS1 >LQ9< block and he put down 700+ rwhp on the bottle and ran 10.0 on drag radials with a M6 in his Camaro SS! That was over 1 yr ago, so he may be in the 9's now on radials. It's also his daily driver!

There's another guy in Tampa with a red SS that's reportedly run 9.60's and he(I'm told) drove it nearly each day, weather permitting. This guy is just a tool who's trying to brag about something he hasn't got. He raced on ET drags or the like, but drove on ET Streets or BGF Drag Radials. I think that one might've been an LT1 block.

i was just saying, i cant call who is the bigger prick in that situation... leaning toward the guy who spends "$2,500" a month on the car. its one thing to piss up all your $$ when your single, but your an asshole if you do that shit when you have kids.

can someone tell me how you can spend 2500 a month on a car? after the inital motor build of course. as for the $6000 H/C yeah, i can see that, especially if he took it to LG motorsports or a place like it. with the labor, it adds up fast. I was quoted $5800+ tax for heads, cam, intake, TB, street legal LT headers, and cat back on my gto.

He prolly doesn't even have those mods! Surely his claimed ET's don't add up well. But they seem closer for a car with nitrous or a supercharger or turbo. He claims those times on street tires too. I think the guy got busted lying.

Seems like two different people to me. I see different tag numbers on the cars and the names have changed as well.

The Cobra I see in Evil's vid is silver. The one in my original is charcoal. Unless I missed one, these are not the same car. The two I'm talking about have clearly ledgible tags, so there must be a third somewhere.

In my link it has a quote from "Predator03" and just after that, says "this is what Chris Johnson is afraid of" or something like that. Then shows this charcoal Cobra. That's why I thought it was his car and the silver one isn't.

Idonno nutin' bout debitch. I do know I wouldn't street race either, except one time when I was really pissed at the guy wanting to race me with his "10 second" Chevelle. I raced him 3 times and whipped him two of those and lost once. I wasn't happy at all about having done it, but I did get back at the lot of guys eggin' me on by winning.

just before the silver one right in between the silver and white on the second time through is the charcoal Cobra.If you look real close you can see the first three in the plate #ls the same as the Cobra in your first video.
Believe me I`m not one to pick on a Mustang owner unless he deserves it.

So the guy talking in vid #2 is this Predator guy, eh. Well if his car was sitting right there and the guy wanted to race, he was either upset by something, or afraid he'd lose. I think he could at least have given a run. Afterall, he's clearly perfectly willing to be ON the video, just not that one... That boy must be SCUUUURRRRED!
