The 4.6L swap has been done several times. I forgot the guys name, but someone did it in 2003 and had the car running something like 10.2's in short order. He also swapped to a C4 as I remember. Took little time, but he's a certified Ford tech with his own shop and many years racing experience.

That's a big job for the guy at home though. Kudos to him for getting it done.
