Whats up guys?!?!?? Been a while since I have been here.
I still have the Trans Am. Still can't drive it very well, at least that is what my slips tell me. Clutch is toast, so I have a new one waiting for me to find some spare time.
The car recently dyno'd 376.8 RWHP and 370.8 ft/pounds.
Here is the slip. Still running on stock tune. Since gotten the TB polished.
Ran a new best MPH at the track recently as well. Trapped at 105.23. To answer the questions about that now....I run 5860 feet above sea level in Morrison, Colorado. Bandimere. Still unable to break into the 13's due to the clutch and lack of traction.

I have quite the project going on right now though.

I will be sticking around a bit more now that I remembered this site is here!!!
Anyone remember me?

In a way, yes. Didn't mean to. Just had more traffic at the time.
I will be around now though. Probably a better place to get answers anyways.

It was that 14 year old kid trying to tell me something. Hell if I can remember what it was.

Whats up luos!?

Yes...I'm following you....very closely. Btw...at least you ran a low 14...try being in the mid 14s! Stupid altitude Not to mention racing on a kitchen floor(PMI) with my little 245's. My 2.4-2.5 60's arent cutting it

I understand the 60' problem.
My latest run was a 14.108 at 105.23. 2.4xx 60'
Damn altitude, and clutch.

Posted by: ~redlinels1~

My latest run was a 14.8@98 with a 2.5 60'. Who knew an auto could spin tires for so long Pitty I'll be on the same crappy tires this year so I'm not looking to get much of a better time, but last time i also forgot to plug in my pass o2 sensor and the porcelian (sp) on the #8 plug was cracked after my LT install. Without better tires, i highly doubt ill do much better, but it will be fun nonetheless.

Posted by: Mr. Luos

That is all I go to the track for right now. Fun.

Gotta get this project done before I really start looking for some good times. Probably gonna completely skip the 13's.

Posted by: ~redlinels1~

Racing for fun is always the best. If you run slower than you think you will you dont get all butthurt. Well..maybe a little bit lol. Im happy with my trap speed though since most of the time im just goofin around on the streets. It takes care of itself

How much longer do you think until you're finished with your project? Hows the job situation looking? I'm sure you wont have a problem skipping 13s.

Posted by: Mr. Luos

I start my new job Tuesday. It should be enough money to get by and get the car running towards the end of the season. I hope. I have most everything here already, just really down heads.
Hope to see you on that upcoming cruise!!!!

Its good to see you here Mr. Luos......now tell us something good

Maybe I'll swing up with the fox and run you one of these days.

Posted by: maxharvard

I'm back too, i totally forgot about this site

Funny how everyone seemed to remember this place right at the same time... Been here years on less then 300 posts I think.

How the Camaro going max. I caught a few pics, looked great last time I saw it.

Moved out of Denver finally Lous... probally the reason I stopped bitching so much. Actually graduated college and moved out the next day to Phoenix. Got a couple cars (including an import!!), a house, and will be getting married in the fall. Funny how things change.

Congrats man!!!!

Make sure you let me know if you are going to be back up this way.

Posted by: Darcsun

Probally be a while before I head out there. I'm sending the ride to the paint shop soon. After that, the tranny needs to be tossed in. Might upgrade the suspension... but the turbo has to be done before I consider heading up to that altitude. I'm gonna gun for mid 11's with the new ride and still keep it streetable. I'll let you know when I'll be up there.

Thanks man, i posted some in the lounge here

btw, you can come back to AR if you want. I wont make a fuss, no hard feelings

Saw the pics... damn nice work. Did you do the paint yourself? I seem to recall you doing it a while back. I'm basically planning the same on my fox project... complete tear down and rebuild now that I have a garage.

I might swing by there max... I'm in training, but I get bored at work alot when customers are slow. What screen name should I use... don't wanna give anyone there a heart attack.

Dont matter to me, either way...

Someone else painted it, but i did the rest of the work.

Posted by: Darcsun

I'll see if I can swing over then... make sure the insta-ban sticks aren't out though. I saw the lous v. onyx over there and really wouldn't wanna get into that sort of situation.

Posted by: Mr. Luos

That shit was a misunderstanding. As most is there.

Posted by: Darcsun

Isn't it always....

I'd swing over if I could get added on to the user list w/o somehow appearing as the latest user. That, and insta-ban immunity.
