Help please, Firebird's stereo locked

Hi,
Does anybody know how to get a stereo out of lock mode in a '98 Firebird?
I checked the manual and it says to enter a code, but being I bought the car used, I don't know the code.

Might have to call a Pontiac/Chevy dealer for that info.
