I knew it wasn't gonna run that great today due to the near 90* temps but I mostly just wanted to get an idea of how its gonna run with the new heads when it cools off this fall.

Old best: 11.73 @ 115.23 mph (1.56 60') D/A: -58 ft

New best: 11.70 @ 115.47 (1.59 60') D/A: 2,821 ft

I know that doesn't seem like much of an improvement but considering the D/A I was just happy to be in the 11s today. Plus now I'm positive it'll go 11.2 -11.3 @ 119-120 when cool weather returns.

My SES light was on the whole time and I believe that makes the computer pull a little timing (limp mode?) so that might be costing me some power.

{edit} Corrected: 11.301 @ 119.64 mph.. I was close!

Thanks. Yeah its coming on because the A.I.R. crap has been removed but the computer still checks.. No big deal but I dunno if that causes it to go in limp mode or not? I'll get it removed from the computer soon.

Oh, the AIR crap, I removed mine too not too long ago, same deal. To my knowledge(LT1 stuff), it shouldt affect the performance of the engine any. Not realy sure on LS1 stuff though.

Sweet man. The weather here in Ohio has been hot and balmy too.
Supposed to cool off though and I'm hoping to get out myself.
I'll be getting rid of my LS-1 intake very soon and hope to get a tune.

Good times for such poor air!

That was before the dyno tune too.. I think its gonna be atleast 11.0s in good weather. I wonder if my tranny was slipping on the dyno last week since it went out today? Hmmm.

Very possible! A friend of mine had that happen to him, but with a fresh tranny, he picked up a little bit in the 1/4 mile.
