Hi someone recommended i post my question here. I'm looking for an affordable car that has enough room for my friends to ride and is 1985 or older. (I will go a little older than 85 if the car looks good and is dependable)
thanks

Well what are you looking for? Just something big enough to hold people? Gas mileage? Something that is quick enough to get out of its own way? Reliability in something made before 85 is questionable at best given the fact that original components are 20+ years old.

it has to have some power and be fairly fast

There are some good Mercedes, BMW, Corvette deals out there!
So many cars, so little time.

Well, since you're posting here I figure you probably want V8 muscle. One of the most affordable choices there would have to be a T-bird.

Still, it would help if you told us more about what you consider "affordable." Are you thinking about getting a car on a $5,000 budget or a $500 budget?

gonna be hard to find a good car thats over 20 years old now for an affordable price...

i'd say get a 85 buick lesabre with a V8 to pull around you and your friends... they arent a sought after car really, and you can probably pull one with decent miles for under 5K. My dad used to have one and it was a work horse.

here's one i found on ebay:
