Need Help!

Hello guys, Im new here. Hopefully you guys can be of some help to me.
I figured since this is a site oriented towards modern vehicles someone here would know. I tried all the WRX and Subaru boards, but they are full of a bunch of retarded ricer idiot kids.
Ever since I bought my 02 Subaru WRX, Ive been having nothing but problems, I keep breaking halfshafts, and have gone throught 3 transmisions.

Theres this 04 Cobra in town that keeps kicking my ass, I cannot keep up with him. I thought imports were supposed to be fast and indestructible? I dont get it, I even lost to some black 80s looking grandma car.

How do I beat these guys? Im willing to spend as much as it takes. My car launches very good, but after it gets going(if it didnt break) becomes a total dog, no power.
Also my friend with an EVO has a question, its the weirdest thing. Every time he tries to race a muscle car with a V8 and loud exhaust, his car just dies.
Its like its afraid, any thoughts?

The EVO stalling when next to a musclecar has something to do with the knock sensor...do a search, this issue was covered in this forum a couple months back.

That was a typo son, the 2 is right next to the 3 on the keyboard.

Just cause it wasnt available in the US doesnt mean I couldnt get one early

My dad has busines offices all over the world, I could get any car imported here within a week.

Although I will take your advice about getting a Supra, one of my buddies is selling his. He just got it dynoed, hows this look? Its got WAYYY more torque than the STi's.
I havent quite figured out how to attach pics, hope this works.
