Hey, I'm Jacob, Jake for short. I live in wondeful (most of the time) Kentucky. I'm only 18, and a member of a dying breed...muscle car enthusiasts, there aren't to many teens' my age that can enjoy and appreciate these classic cars! Nowadays, us young-uns' like those annoying rice-burners and bass-bumpers...but not me. Guess I'm lucky...

Anyway, I'm a musician, not your stereotypical one either!

I'm so normal, people don't believe me when I tell them I'm a drummer, but who cares! I think a lot of young "aspiring musicians" like muscle cars for some reason. 3 out of 4 of my band mates like/own/or are soon to own and piece of muscle history!
My other "forte'" besides music, would undoubtly be, cars. I love cars, but prefer the classics. I have just about become a mechanic with all my time spent at the local mechanics shop; helping out and learning things. I currently don't own a muscle car, but that's why I'm here. I now have a steady, decent job and desperatley need a new car, and it WILL be a muscle car. I just won't give in to the compacts and imports!!! I suppose you could say I've become pretty good with cars-older cars mostly. I love the engine...it mezmerises me, such an amazing invention, hense my love of cars! I'm simply here seeking information and opinions about a first muscle car, and other technical things too! Well, thats enough about me. See you all on the forums!

Welcome! Looks like we have atleast 2 things in common... I love muscle cars and I'm also a drummer. I've been playing for about 28 years.

Welcome to the Board.. Oh and always remember not all muscle cars are old.. But I do agree.. Rice burners suck! /No Rice Allowed!
