Speedometer...

Hey in my firebird it has been converted from a auto to a manual...i got all the stuff interior and mechanical wise,

just wondering i need my speedometer to work and it is eletronic from the auto, yet the t-5 has a mechanical line, and by now the wiring from the speedo is probly torn apart, any sights or ways to get a converter with wiring to take the mechanical signal- to the eletronic speedometer, or where to disconnect/find a new wire from the speed/dask wiring tot he trans becauxce its pretty messed from falling on the ground from road wear,

ive also heard i can take the electronic signal sender out of a eletronic v6 t-5 of around the same year throw it in my trans and hook up the speedo wire and it would work, lemme know
