It's NOT a WS6, it has leather, t-tops and all the bells and whistles. 60,xxx miles. Silver, and is an A4. They are asking $10,600. What do ya think ?

Depends on what you want I guess. If you want to take it to the tack and see some really good times and spank M6's, you can't beat a A4 with a big converter. If you want to take it out on the twisties, go with the M6. For daily driving, I like the A4.

Wouldn't the M6 get better gas mileage? Like that would really matter to someone wanting power, but the way gas prices are going up, every bit helps...

Should. If my ZX gets a 350 (and it's looking more and more like it will unless I can get a better deal on a 4.8 or 5.3, LS1's are more than I want to spend....) it's going to probably end up with an F-body T56 with a .5:1 6th gear. Can you say highway car?
Posted by: LS1JAY
M6 cars will average about 2 mpg more than a A4 as an average. My A4 got about 28mpg on a trip to NC with the cruise set at 80 mph. I've heard of M6 cars getting as high as 30mpg and some of the new LS2 Vettes with M6's getting 32mpg.

If you can drive, you can pull damn good times with an M6.

Yeah, if thats what you want man, go for it. Its getting harder to find these cars in good condition for a reasonable price. Most of the ones Ive seen (LS1 F-Cars, some LT1s) are usualy ridiculously overpriced because(local dealer quote) "They dont make them anymore and are collectors items"

The only thing really showing much wear is the driver seat, but it still isnt bad. I went back and looked again, it has had some chips in the front, that has been touched up. All in all, its not a bad car, I need to go by when I have some time and drive it.

Kennis, with your record, maybe you should go with the A4,.......... 2nd gear might actually last a lil while with you that way...

Yeah tang... Just focus on if you should paint the b-pillar and of course take plenty of pics of it with an old worn out stang in the background.. and no burn outs and you'll have a great ride..

I'll take a stab and guess about a 1/2 a second or less in the 1/4...with equal drivers.
But what do I know...I've never been to a track.

My '98 T/A with 2:73's went 13.1@106.5 on stock street tires with only a high flow air lid. Most Cobra's were in the 14.0 range that I saw with a few hitting high 13's. My Camaro SS stock with stock 3:23's went 13.0@107 and then 12.7@110 w/ mac equal length headers on DR's.
Posted by: LS1 Mopar Turbo
You would be lucky to see 13.80 in that thing, very lucky...My stock 98 Z28 went 13.40 at 108.02 mph, My Lid and cutout 01 Z28 went 12.98 at 110.02 mph. The 00 WS6 went 13.42 at 105 in 95 degree heat...All are M6s.
Not that the 4.6 isn't a good motor and the stock block ones have gone faster than the the Stock block LS1s, not daily driver lots of cash cars, But daily Drive LS1s are just faster mod for mod period.

Any idea what the Mach 1's are doing with the same motor?
I think the 99 Cobras were advertised with 305hp and the Ellis Juans came with 325, right?
Seems like the GM's were heavier, too? Damn No-Driving Cobra guys.
Posted by: LS1 Mopar Turbo
Yes but the Mach 1 has a solid rear axle correct? The 99's were down on power even after "The fix".

My buddy's Mach1 went 13.7@103 bone stock, but I have heard of some guys running 13.30-13.40's @105-106 with a really good driver in good air.

Dude, let me know how much you plan on putting into a car and I can find you whatever you want.... How much are you willing to spend? And what are you wanting?
