New Car(to me) need HELP!!!!

Hi all, I just bought a 96 camaro. Sorry to say though, its a V6, but its the big v6. Its the 3800 high output 200 horse version. 5-speed tranny, red lots of fun. only thing is, its completly stock. I bought it off a middle aged lady and she just drove the thing to work and back, so its had a relativly easy life. so, I want to do some mods to it and I'm not quit sure what to get. I have already thought of the usual, cold air intake, exhaust, ect. but I don't know what brands performe the best but are still somewhat reasonable in price. I am only 17, I just have a part time job, but I still love cars and whant to make mine put out more horses than it already is. I would really apreciate anyones help!

Thats a tough one, as most people don't bother modding the v6 models. What is your budget and what are you goals for the car?

5 speed V6 eh. Hmmm. Not too sure what can be done to those.
You could start with all the basic things.
I know theres a few companies that make shorty headers for the 3.8
Cold air intake, higher ratio rocker arms, I think you can get those from SLP.
Ive read that catbacks net some nice gains on those.
If it doesnt have one already you could try to find a POSI rearend off a V8 car from a wrecking yard and throw some 3.73s on there. Some weight reduction is a free mod of course
