man i got a whopper for you guys lol

alrighty, i start it up 700 rpm and stalls i heard it might have been the maf
relay so, just snooping around i see what will happen if i pull out the power relay

start it up and it idles a bit rough but it doesnt stall- see once its warmed up enough to idle right with the maf connected ill hit the gas and the more i hit the gas the more the rpm decreases

thennn, if i hold it to the floor itll do a "jump" act

say punch it, 300rpm then bam itll go to 1500 * by that time i realiease peddle * because the intake makes scary popping noises

now i go to autozone buy a replacement relay...no change at all

course i bought this from what id call a eletrical " wiz" so who the hell knows he could have the wrong relays on there lol

help me out guys heh

unplug the MAF and see how it runs.

Posted by: firetpi350

have done it before, it basicly idles a bit high and throttle response seems to be good so thats what threw me onto the maf problem ( hope its not the sensor like 300 for one sigh)

mine went bad, car wouldn't run for shit. I ran it unplugged till I had the $ for a new one.

well itll only do it if its cold

like, start it high, then itll stall

if it warm it idles fine but if i tap the throttle itll loose power and try to stall till it catches up, i think its my maf sigh ! nooooo lol like 220 bucks i think

could grab one from a junkyard and give iot a shot i spose

when it gets where it'll run, try tapping the MAF, see if it stumbles or stalls.

Posted by: firetpi350

kk ill give it a check tomrow after school * no morning rofl neighbors dont like that *

Posted by: firetpi350

i do remeber when i took the maf out a while ago i heard something jingling in it, so lol maybe it is a gonner

Posted by: firetpi350

yeah it stumbles when i tap it noticibly

im gonna recheck relays but besides that i think i got a bad maf sigh lol
