It's basically stock right now with a fresh rebuilt motor. I took it to the track last night and ran a 16.8, lol. I have an intercooler for it I'm working on hooking up. I will also be installing a manual boost controller, BOV, CAI, and cutout before I take it back to the track. I'm hoping to hit at least high 14's with those mods on street tires.

Dude you should have seen some of my Turbo dodge rebuilds. I didn't clean or paint shit and it would run like a rapped ape!

Sweet! Those things kickass, me and buddy have been working on one lately.
Been fun beating up on the ricers
His is a 89 Lebaron GTC 5 speed.
3" exhaust
CAI
Blow-off valve
4.7v diode on the map sensor
2 additional injectors
Autometer Boost gauge
A/F ratio gauge

Theres prolly more that Im forgetting, we usualy run it at around 18-20 PSI.
They usualy laugh at us when pull up at a light and ask them to race.
Then they hear the turbo and say"Oh Shit!!" Too late!

Niiiice!! I was looking for a turbo caravan a while ago for a work vehicle (I do construction, always carryin around a bunch of tools), but couldn't find a decent one with a 5spd when I had the cash.

You are gonna want to keep searching ebay for a Garrett T2 ith associated plumbing, that will give you a lot better performance than the Mitsubishi turbo on there.

-or- pay a visit to Turbo's Unleashed and/or FWD Performance if you're not on a tight budget. They specialize in TD's and have all kinds of go-fast parts. Doing it on a budget is half the fun though...

hahaha badass... boost that sucker up and get her into the 12s with some spray

Cool. Sounds like it's already faster than the LeBaron I used to have. Then again, that car had a blown head gasket, shot clutch, and so many issues with the underhood tubing that I think the boost leaked out most of the time. I sometimes wish I could go back and get a better turbo K-car.

DO IT!!
You can find them pretty cheap, thats one the best parts about these cars, you dont spend much money. We had a few leaks too, tracked em all down though.
Rigged up some PVC pipe and air fittings to the throttle body and pumped it to around 14-18 pounds and checked all the plumbing for leaks.

that van is NEAT. I used to have an old turbo toyota pickup. this van reminds me of it. I wish like hell when i owned the 22rte that i would have known about turbos...it was my first vehicle when i was in high school and a little green light would come on that said turbo when it built up boost. haha good times, good luck with the van.

I don't know...it's already got some yellow and red wires and/or vacuum lines in there...

It's got the T2 on there already. I just mounted an old Isuzu IC and I'm working on the plumbing.

Here are some more pics...

Where I moved the air intake is just temporary until I move the computer and run the intake into the fender. I have a manual boost controller I also need to hook up (just a pressure release valve) and I think I need to do something with a diode before cranking up the boost. I'm only hit 10psi right now. Oh yeah, I need to weld in a 2.5" cutout too.
