Bad day for someone at the dyno...

Yesterday when I was at Atlanta Chassis Dyno to pick up the injectors for the Dart, I saw them dyno testing a recent Chevy pickup with a centrifugal blower. They were just getting started on the dyno pull when I suddenly saw a chunk of something black fly out of the engine compartment. Then it started leaking coolant everywhere. Turns out that the water pump pulley had come apart, leaving a hand-sized hole in the radiator shroud! Yikes.

yeah the shaft broke and the entire housing came apart, sending the whole fan assem. into the rad

Also: whered you see it skee? on here or in person?

its got a 502, alum heads and a procharger...

I thought I saw it at that tranny shop on Cobequid road, but maybe it was a different one. The one I saw was orange with a black stripe down the side.

No no, it was the Buick. I saw it few years back when I had the rear end done on the truck.
