Fuggin badass!

Are those adj uppers worth every penny?

yeah... I'd say the anti-roll bar takes the cake though. That thing kicks-ass... makes the car leave nice and flat when properly set up.

I just installed a Team Z anti-roll bar on my '85. I ran out of time to get out to the track this season and set it up properly.

How's yours setup? I've heard of people setting them up neutral, then turning the passenger side 1/8th of a turn at a time.

That's basically it, but I was going 1/2 to 1 full turn when first setting it up going mid 11's a few years ago... and then you'll find that as the car makes more power, the more pre-load you have to keep adding to keep the car leaving straight.

Great ride...

What makes the car stay straight? Mine leaves pretty good, but around half-track, it veers to the right! 28x10.5" tires on an 8.5" Convo Pro Wheel? 10-12# tire pressure gonna get me killed?

A good alignment makes it stay straight on the top end...other than that, have you scaled the car? Sounds like an alignment/tracking issue to me that needs to be adjusted out... a good chassis guy can put it on scales and tell you that it's going to the right without you even having to mention it to him by seeing where the weight sits in the car... you want more weight on that rear pass side, that can be done by preloading the anti-roll bar more.... you should still consult/visit a chassis shop and/or alignment facility.

I run anywhere from 10-14psi...I would recommend getting a 15x10", 6.5" b/s wheel or using a 9" slick... you're not using all of that tire w/ an 8.5" wheel... NMRA SSO guys (7.50's) use 15x12 w/ a 28x10.5" tire to use every bit of the available 'footprint' and to minimize the side-to-side/swaying effect you get with too big 'a tire for the rim... the best you can do w/out mini-tubs is a 15x10... and then you still have to use a hammer to do some minor massaging to the inner wheel-wells... which is what NMRA Renegade cars do since they can't modify the wheel-wells and are allowed 28x10.5's (8.50's)..... Shit, I wish there was a chassis guy somewhere around here that could hook me up with a scaled setup.

I'll get that alignment checked out, hopefully before this weekend. I'm going with some 5-lug moser axles and spindles this winter to fit some ProStars on it. No Draglites for me, thanks.

Thanks for the input, Ryan.
