Try to get a UD pulley installed at the same time? Not rea sure on this Mod.
For those who are curious I am installing a Thunder Racing 230/224 575/563 111LSA in a 99 MN6 Corvette.

Is the car a daily driver?
If so, think twice.
If not, go for it.

In one month She will not be a daily driver. So go for it, right.

damn, what's up with that reverse duration and lift?

I really do not know the exact reason, but here is my theory.
The reverse split and duration are there to make up in the flow defeciency of stock unported LS1 heads and LS1 intake manifold. This is compared to ported LS1 or LS6 heads. I went with the low # LSA first to lower the power band and second for the lope.
I know the LS1 guys are going to flame me for saying the stock LS1 heads do not flow well. I am not saying that, they must flow pretty well because I have timeslips to prove it. Its just a theory. I have researched the cam and there are alot of LS1's with this cam putting down 400 to the wheels. also approaching .600" of lift kind of worries me with a manual car.

well in that case, hell yeah!
I've heard of Texas Speed making good power with their 233/239 cam, along with a few others. That's the first reverse-duration cam I've noticed for an LS1
I also thought that LS1 heads flowed badass for a stock head?

The heads do flow very well. part of the constriction is the LS1 intake. I have swapped to an LS6 intake and an aftermarket cold air kit so this is resolved. Just the intake swap alone netted my stock engine 9hp an 11tq at the wheels.

I am not a fan of reversed duration cams unless there is boost involved. The power made takes a while to kick in....4500 RPM's or so most of the time.
That cam works best with a very good exhaust flow. And I mean wide open flow.
Makes good power no doubt though, just upper RPM range.
And yes...if it isn't a daily driver the underdrive pulley is worth a good 10-12 RWHP.
