354 Power Giant Help I.D. first post

The engine is from an army tank retreiver, it is totally hole and compleate down to the belts 3 and the intake is 2 Ball & Ball by Carter one BBL, carbs gouverned by two Holly vaccume gouvernor, The number on the block stamping boss reads V1548-3379. that all i know at this time can anyone tell me about this motor???
