help with rust

My car is getting rusty in the engine department
and i am worrying.
Could anybody give me some good suggestion on how to get rid of those
annoying rust? I have heard that some can not get rid of them but
will prevent them? Is that true? If it's true, how do i get the rust
off?

Er, which shaft are you talking about? There's lots of shafts - a driveshaft, a camshaft, a crankshaft, and several others.
