Pretty good scam I guess, I bet a lot of people fall for that.
At least you can see it in those pics, some of the ones Ive seen come inside a plastic box with the wires sticking out of it. Not too long ago we had some guy come into our shop at work and ask us if we could hook his up for him. He said he bought it on ebay and was supposed to give him 20 HP. He was driving a v6 Magnum. I felt bad for him and wasnt gonna say anything but after I told him what it was, he said he was gonna try to return it.

Yeah later on in the page....He tells you it's a resistor.....I Believe when he first started selling this, he just listed it as a chip only..I guess a few negative replies changed his tune a bit....
