I just got this 95 s10 2.2 did the normal tune up and I think for a stock 2.2 in a s10 it runs normal but I either want fuel mileage or prefromance right now I feel I have neither. does anyone know whay can I do short of installing a V8?

Welcome. I'm moving your post to the GM Tech forum so that some of our resident bow tie brigade will be more likely to spot it.

Right now, I'll start with a few questions:

1. How much can you afford to spend?
2. How much work are you willing to put into it?
3. How many emissions laws do you have to deal with?

As for mileage and performance, my advice is to pick one or the other. Most of the time on newer engines, you've got to burn more fuel to make more power.
