ok, so just installed my new holly avenger throttle body, i thought everything was fine until i started it up. it idles at like 3000rpm, but i checked the butterflies and they wer closed. so what do i have to do to get it idling normally.

Are you sure the TPS isn't bad and is set correctly?

well since im new to trans am's, i read the instructions but it said nothing about tps, so please fill me in on what to do.
thanks man, that site helped, one more question, would it be ok to run the engine without intake on to see if it works so i dont have to put the whole intake set up back on and off?

I wouldnt do that, its gonna run like shit. The mass air flow sensor is not gonna meter the correct amount of air. Not a good idea. Pretty much a huge vacuum leak.
