98 Trans Am Wont Start

Hi, I am a proud owner of a 98 Trans Am: 5.7L Automatic.
Problem is that the Service Engine Light turned on and the Check Guages Light turn on with a Flashing Security Light. All at the same time. This in turn wont let me start the car. Not even the starter will turn.

Can any help me?

I tried to disconnect the battery and reconnect it. It did not work....
But Everything inside turns on... Lights and all.
But no engine....

Most likely you are haveing a vats (vehicle antitheft system) issue. F-bodys use a resistor in the key. The ign lock cylinder has contacts internally for the resistor.
There are wires attached at the lock cylinder. These wires rotate with the lock cylinder.
the wires break often inside the strg collumn at the rotation point.
