I did. However, I didn't actually race it. Instead, I watched so I could see some characteristics and attempt to fix a tracking issue. Turns out it did fine with the prior adjustments, and I saw a couple shut down passes. I almost hope to go race tomorrow, but I intend to go WITH the juice next time out.

If I find anywhere it's sold locally, I'll get a bottle or two filled. If not, the racing will have to wait. The current converter simply doesn't like all motor passes. My best hope is, it will really like N2O passes. But it lags significantly without the bottle. Not having raced it myself with the latest changes, I'm not 100% sure, but it seems accurate. Afterall, it's an automatic. Therefore, it should hardly matter who's behind the wheel, as long as they aren't skurred! Downside other than no juice, old slicks. Ya know, I don't wanna have no airless tires out there! I do need better traction, so new slicks are in order. I'm actually considering a new set of DR's instead, since many are hookin' these days and they maintain better drivability at high speed.

You know I was just messin' with ya'!

I'd go with the M/T DR's!

BTW, check out this OLD video of my Formula 350 spankin' a older bolt on Cobra!
http://videos.streetfire.net/Player...C6-173B97E44C7B

I was running solid low 8.50's with this set up (stock gears and stock converter) which was only bolt on's. Not too many L-98's were running these times with these mods. There was a '91 L-98 Z-28 who was always dead even with me with similar mods. My buddy's '89 Vette ran 8.20's with nothing more than a converter from a stock '85 Vette (2500 factory stall) and a Flowmaster 3" catback with no cats.

Where was that race, Lakeland? Yikes, what a track. Hey, it looked like the Cobra spun.

I already have M/T E.T. Streets on the car. Don't like them at this point, but I hear the DR's are actually better so I may look into them. The ET Streets never hooked well enough to suit me, even spinning with my poor converter response. I'm looking at 28X10.5(275/60's) BFG DR's again. I may try a 27" true slick.

Yeah, it was Lakeland. BTW, I was running street tires too. I had some cheapo Dunlop 265's! I was rolling out and spinning a little bit. Atleast I had air in my tires!
