Anyone know what a 63 Dodge 440 is worth? I have found a black one in reasonable shape, chrome still good , glass ok, body pretty good, motor unknown. I have access to a 413 for power. I am currently building a 52 Willys Areo street rod, so common sense tells me to leave the Dodge alone. But it looks sweet.

If you desire a gas hog that can't get out of its own way without help, there's your pick of the litter.

They don't have the collector value of later Dodges - they aren't exactly from the golden age of muscle cars, and the styling definitely isn't for everyone. I would offer no more than $1,500 for it if it runs, drives, does not require new paint, and has all its original trim and interior. The only time I'd offer more would be if it has a Max Wedge under the hood, or a really interesting drivetrain swap.

Thanks, 413 Ramchargers were gas hogs, but I seem to remember those cars running 12 sec quarter miles. It's not a ramcharger car however and the owner is asking $600. Problem is its a 4 door car. An original Ramcharger is worth big bucks.

A 63' Dodge 440 four door. Good for a parts car only. IMO.
