It doesn't matter, whichever one I get is getting shoved up MikeT's ass for proposing this.

Well oobviously the Le Car, I would stick a bookshelf wing on it with a coffee can exhaust. Then I would go park it at a theater showing tokyo drift with a forsale sign on it.

Well, now...Ugly vs Ugly....I guess looks doesn't play a key role in picking these...I'm going to say the Le Car..."YuGo, but the car doesn't....." Although the yugo does look a bit better, but still ugly...

I voted for the Yugo, but only because I've seen some guys get pretty crazy with them on the autocross circuit. Even seen a modified one run 14's - no engine swap, but it did have a turbo. And they look better than a Renault, although that's somewhat like taking the prize in a beauty contest for Vietnamiese potbellied pigs.
Now if I could get a Renault LeCar R5, that would be another story...
BTW, I had an uncle who tried to race a LeCar. Ended up rolling it.

You stole my idea...I was going to post a Geo Metro vs. Ford Festiva poll.
I think the Festiva would win because it's got one more cylinder.
I voted Yugo - based solely on styling.

I would go for the le car since a sticker with LE CARCASS would be cool stuck on it

You knows guys, this is a Renault LeCar too.
It's a WRC Champion.
The Yugo has none of that and handles well only be virtue of thier Fiat 128 derived suspension and thier featherweight status. BTW, the Yugo's body is a hacked up Autobianchi 112. Although a bonus there was that in the late 80's, the Zastava Koral which is the REAL name of the Yugo was fitted with a Porsche designed and built 1.3L engine with BOSCH fuel injection. That engine was originally designed for Fiat but given the obvious relationship above, the Yugo recieved the same treatment.
Although, the Yugo does have many class wins and club level victories under it's belt, it never reached a status anywhere near the level of the "Le Car".
I'll go with the Renault I think. It's been proven more reliable (still isn't saying much), it's physically larger and hasn't been blown off the Mackinac Bridge in Michigan in a windstorm.
