What do you like best about your ride?

So what is it? For me, two words come to mind. Blower whine. This thing screams like a banshee even at just off idle throttle applications. Since I took the intake silencer out, the volume of said whine is loud enough to drown out the exhaust note.

As an example, I pulled out of the lot at work yesterday and took a quick break. In an effort to merge with traffic quickly, I got on it hard. The tires slipped a bit but didn't make much noise at all and as soon as it caught traction, I was GONE! However, I did notice that a group of "suits" in the parking lot, about 300-350 feet away from the road all turned to look in my general direction. I was passing the speed limit at that point and I got off the throttle. As I backed off, I could hear the remnants of the blower whine echoing off the building that is nothing but glass windows.

The best part about the whine is when it's nice out and people are riding around with thier windows down, it scares the living shit out of them! Especially at stop lights because you can hear that 90mm throttle body POP open just before the blower starts sucking air like it's going out of style and screaming at everything. Then the truck pulls away only to give the people in the cars on the right side a double barrel blast of exhaust note as a parting gift.

Yeah, I like the blower whine!

I like having a 6 speed, for the Trans Am.
Consistenacy at 122,000 miles, for the Z28
Payload,for the Silverado
Gas Mileage, for the Jetta
Beer drinking and sex, for Harvey the RV!

The things I like best about the Focus are its handling and gas mileage.

With the Dart, it's the uniqueness. The last time I brought it to a car show, I had a lot of people look under the hood, notice that it wasn't a super-detailed show engine, turn away - then do a double take as it sank in that it definitely was neither a stock slant six nor the usual V8 swap. I expect people to be even more shocked next time I bring it to a local cruise-in, as the last time I was there, I was running a carbureted setup.
