I hope we blow it up 10' off the ground.

we have already surrounded them with some nice big ships just to let them know we are there ........

Everybody says if we try to shoot it down, and miss, it will be very embarassing. I agree, so let's blow it up before the launch.

The US military is rarely "ever" caught with their pants down these days, well if ya over look tailhook, har har. I dare say, they've had quite a while to get ready for this one, like about ten years. Therefore, I'm sure there are plenty of assets available to the Commander in Chief, to do the deed if he thinks it is appropriate.
We have the new missile defense progrm, tried and untested of course, but we also have improved patriot systems that can be loaded onto everything from the F series to the gunships, but they are generally close range deployment (within sight of the target) and they're designed to hit an object falling onto the target zone.
I dare say we have hardware none of us know about, duh, and this may include ship or air deployed chemical laser equipment. Aint it great what the American tax dollar can do?
Don't think for one second that the USA is sitting on their Clintonian asses, wondering what the commies are up to, just letting them load a nuke on board and then threaten the entire west coast and general Pacific Rim. Any hint there is a nuke aboard and the launch site disappears like "now".
Personally, I think we are justified taking it out on the ground, in the air, 10' off the pad, whatever. Let em cry, and if they want it bad enough, give em something to cry about. Having a position like this is one good reason I'm not the Commander In Chief, lol.
