Interesting story: The mayor of a small Tennessee town got so overzealous with speed traps (not to mention racial profiling, trying to frame a rival for DUI, and other craziness) that the Attorney General is hauling him into court.

I just hope Mr. P didn't live anywhere nearby, as things could have really gotten ugly.

Now you know what the V1 is for, we find it rather useful in Tennessee. I'm also very interested in getting a "BLINDER" setup on the 928, as it seems to be the one I drive the fastest when I shouldn't.

Small towns like this are pretty rough on outsiders who happen to be blazing through their territory. The voice of experience. I got pulled over one day at 110-mph with my foot to the floor (back in my TR-6 days). Darn car wouldn't go much faster, and hell, there they were hiding under a bridge. They said "follow us", which I did, off the interstate and down some small winding road so far into hicksville it didn't even have an on ramp to get back on the frigging interstate. We drove into some small town square, they said "lock the car", which I did, and we went inside where the clerk said, "may I have your belt please". I said "what do you want my belt for?", she said "so you don't hang yerself". I kinda got the idea real damn fast, that they wanted cash, and when I found out it was a $50 fine, I couldn't get the money on the table fast enough. That was a few years back, now it would be more like $55 ha ha ha. Actually, I guess I better keep some more cash on me.

And of course, I'm guilty yer honor, of doing a burnout and doughnut one evening right there in the town square, yes sir, did it and ran (got chased and got away too). Got chased by a big block police car that crashed trying to keep up, heh heh (didn't seem to want to go around that one tight corner too well)
