Apparently, they all motored right into the Sea of Japan and failed miserably. That's good I suppose but apparently Japan is REALLY ticked off not only because of NK direct defiance but also because now there is unspent munitions at the bottom of the Sea of Japan.

This'll be a fun one to watch!

Yeah, I heard they failed or atleast that some failed. Maybe Japan will take them out? It's a nice thought anyway.

Japan can't. Since WW2, thier military is at defensive levels only. If they get into a bind with a war, we bail them out. Then again, I don't think any country over there is willing to tangle with us. We may have issues with insurgents in Iraq but we stomped over thier army that outnumbered us almost 4 to 1 in a matter of a few months and we did it twice within 10 years.

NK is the only state over there looney enough to try instigating an all out war.

Besides, at this point, with tensions so high over there, any war will be escalated into a global conflict very quickly. NK can't handle it and thier only ally aside from possible and very irrelevant arab states, would be China. They may have people and arcane weapons but even 2.8 billion people isn't enough to stand up to the rest of the "world powers".

I know if I was NK, I wouldn't want to go pissing on Japan. Then you'd have not only the U.S. to deal with but also the U.K., most of Europe, most likely Russia, defintly Australia, SK and even Canada would likely be in on that deal. They are under just as much of a threat from a nuke based NK as we are.
