New guy...

Hey folks...I thought I'd go ahead and post a 'formal introduction'.

So far my experience with cars, at least in reality, is very limited. In my dreams, I've built and driven them all, from racing a McLaren, Ferrari F40/50, and Audi's LeMans car, to a '69 Camaro, '70 Boss 429, '68 Stingray, '71 Chevelle SS454, '87 Grand National GNx, Porsche 964 911 (with a whale tale!), and Factory Five's Shelby Cobra kit car. Anyhoo, back to reality, now...

My DD is a '95 Cherokee Sport. She has just under 130,000miles on her, and I'm telling you she's as close to new as you'll find any 1995 car. Well, at least she was when I first got her two years ago. Dogging her and ringing her out everytme I get behind the wheel has had an effect, I'm sure. There's not a single time I go somewhere in her that she doesn't see redline at least three times, and quite often in the middle of a sharp turn. I went through my last right rear tire in 8 months. Well, it had a little tread left, but nobody would repaire the nail hole in the sidewall.

Here are some pics I took of my Jeep when I went four-wheelin' with a friend in Roxboro. We also took a few videos of me conquering mountains and slinging nasties. If you wanna watch them, I've uploaded them to my myspace profile; you can (hopefully) view them here. My profile is www.myspace.com/carmike692000.

As you can probably tell, I'm passionate about cars, even if I haven't done anything with them yet at 18 years of age. However, I'm hoping there's plenty of time for me to rush in on the scene, and I hope I can somehow manage to own all the cars I can picture in my garage. Maybe I should start buying lottery tickets...

So, at any rate, I bet that's the most anybody's typed for an 'introduction'. So I'll wind it up now...
