Which is superior to other?

1996 Camaro Z28 SS Ram air VS. 1996 Trans am WS6 Ram air. Which car has the superior ram air set up, I looked under the hood and seen how the 2 were positioned, I also noticed another thing the TA filter was larger and I would think that mean more air but idk, also the TA scoop is more toward the front of the car and I would think this would result more of a force of air then the SS were it is toward the top of the hood, idk? What do u guys think and which car is faster im getting mixed answers.

WS6 Ram Air is more functional but neither make any significant HP difference.

K, and also which car was faster? Some tell me the TA others the SS?

Same engine, same tranny, same (or very close) weight = same performance.

Both vehicles being bone stock, its a toss up. Whoever gets off the line first would most likely win.

Same car pretty much where performance is conserned. IMO the TA is much sexier.

The T/As ram air has a straight shot at the filter and intake, where the SS has to curve around from the scoop to the intake. Performance wise, theyll be pretty close to each other. Itll come down to driver and weight (options,etc).
IMO the LT1 SS Camaro is the best looking 4th gen Camaro, while the LS1 WS6 is the best looking 4th gen Firebird.

They run the same all day long. Man this has been beat to death a bunch of times.
The hoods sure do look sharp though.

ram air does nt effect a car until ur moving @ higher speeds which ina drag aintmuch. but if ur thinkinbout an lt1 TA and lt1 camaro id go for TA it looks way better
