ok i have a 72 chevelle small block 350 i am in need of a new rearend but dont want to spend a fortune can anyone give me a idea

Spools are cheap but if your gears are all shitted up, you'll need to replace them.
Otherwise, hit a junkyard. If you want to keep it accurate for restoration purposes then you will need to spend a fortune whether you like it or not.

I say screw it, or got to a junk yard, one way or the other ur gonna have to spend some money.
