funny-ass movie! I love how it makes fun of the ricers! And the one-liners!! Too many to list, but here's one of my favorites--when Mater is riding in the helicopter he says, "I'm happier than a tornado in a trailer park!"
and the 'tractor tipping' was halarious!

I actually saw most of that just a couple days ago. It is absolutely HILARIOUS! Most shocking to me though, was noting that my brother actually rented it. I suppose it was for the kids, but we had a laugh a minute watching it ourselves.

I got a kick out of that one too. They had a lot of famous people from the world of cars do the voice-overs, and it even has an early Dart in it.
Unfortunately, the Dart was a total beater.

Did anyone notice things like Richard Petty voiced a car that looked like his #43 Superbird or that Mario Andretti voiced a 67 Fairlane 500 that he won the Daytona 500 in? Or how about Darrell Waltrips mid 70's Monte Carlo which, IIRC, he won his first race in in 1975...well, I think it was really a Buick but it looked similar to a Monte Carlo. Also, Michael Schumacher was a Ferrari F430 which he was the test driver for when Ferrari was designing the car. His "buddies" in the film are a pair of 2004 Maserati Quattroportes which were also release in '04 like the F430 and the Fiat Group that owns Fiat, Maserati and Ferrari licensed the cars and Schumacher to "promote" the new vehicles when the film was being developed in 04 for an 06 release. Oh, Arnold was a Hummer, that was pretty obvious though.

Yep. And Tom Magliozzi voiced the '63 Dart. They had a lot of car guys in that movie - I hear they even had the manager of Lowe's Motor Speedway voice the Cadillac with the horns.
