All the talk I heard all over the radio this morning is putting them down as a major contender to go to the Super Bowl. They'd have to win every game from now on to get there but I think they can. I think Atlanta is good but they just don't have teh staying power. I also don't think New Orleans is as good as the record shows. Thier wins have been sloppy. Philly was a threat, I don't think they are so much now and Detroit is well, Detroit. That deosn't mean they can't beat the Cowboys, any one of them has a chance but the numbers the Cowboys have been putting up puts them in 2nd place in the NFC overall. It might end up being Dallas playing Chicago for the NFC. If either team goes to the Super Bowl, both have very tough defenses and thier offenses are very stout too. The only team in the AFC that I think could beat either one of them is the Patriots but I don't think they are going. I think the Colts are going to go and lose in a heartbreaker.
So how'd your team do?

Well Sir,
My Chargers won again. They just keep on going. Have to say they made it interesting at the end. They should have blown away the Bills butt didn't.
I think the Saints will give the BOYS a run for their money. I have always liked Drew Brees and I think he is their missing piece. Not real BIG on Bush, butt, maybe he will come around. Don't think passed the Saints. They just may surprise you.

I wouldn't count the Saints out of anything. Brees is a freaking machine, and their rookie receiver is a great combination with Joe Horn. Reggie Bush is ok, but I doubt he'll ever do all THAT much as a running back unless they teach him to run between the tackles instead of just try to go outside all the time.
Don't count the Seahawks out either. Their record isn't that great, but that's because their pro bowl QB and RB were injured for a couple of MONTHS. Remember, Shaun Alexander rushed for 28 touchdowns last year, and he ran 200 yards last week. These guys are good. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they went to the super bowl.
As far as the AFC's concerned, I'm a COLTS fan. I WANT the COLTS to go to the SUPER BOWL for once.
That said, I think the Chargers are going to be HARD to beat this year. They're looking tough, especially with roid head Merriman back in the lineup and Tomlinson rushing for 43209765 yards and 314095613405976 touchdowns every week.
Denver, I'm not so worried about. Cutler is very unproven, they might not even make the playoffs now.
The sleeper is New England. They're ALWAYS tough. You can't ever count those guys out.

Anyone can beat the Colts if Payton Manning has PMS. The Tennessee Titans put em away this last weekend in Nashville, har har, and did you see the temper tantrum Payton threw on the sidelines? He has some emotional issues to deal with, more than Michael Richards, ha ha, because if things aren't going his way he gets rattled, and fast. How about a 300-pound defensive tackle rolling around on you, taking his time to get his lard ass off your back, ha ha.

I disagree. He gets frustrated with things are out of his control. The defense was laying an egg at the time.

Nah, P is right, Manning throws tantrums when he doesn't win. The only time I saw him NOT throw a tantrum was when the Cowboys beat them and just flat out out played them. That loss was partly Manning's fault.
As for the Saints, I'm not counting them out, anything can happen. If we go by the numbers and how the teams have been playing, I think the Saints will get knocked out in the first round of playoffs. However, if they can stay healthy for next year, watch out! It'll be them and the Cowboys duking it out for the NFC lead!
The Seahawks though, because thier star players were knocked out for so long, I don't think they are getting anywhere this year. If they are healthy for next year, they are defintly a contender but I don't think there is enough time left this season for them to turn it around. Thier schedule isn't that tough the rest of the season but they do have to play the Chargers and I think that will be thier 5th loss. However, they play Arizona and Tampa Bay and both of those teams are under-rated IMO and thier records do not show what they are capable of. Either one of those teams have a serious potential to lay a whupin' on the 'hawks. The 'hawks season should be an interesting finish, without a doubt.
As far as the Colts, I would LOVE to see them go and I honestly think that the only team standing in thier way is the Pats. I still think the AFC champ game will be Indy vs. NE and it's going to be a rough one. The Pats already beat the Colts but Manning is hungry for it, has been for a while. However, I think the only AFC team currently with a chance of beating any of the top 4 NFC teams are the Pats.

Unless Rex gets his act together, or Lovie finally benches him for Griese, the Bears will lose in the 1st round.
