I'm waiting for the gear drive setup, don't like that 7' long belt! Sure would make a nice boat motor, six hundred easy ponies all day long, no blower, heh heh.

You know what else is cool? World Products up here in Long Island, they are putting together a 302 package that is just insane! It's an all aluminum 302 based on thier new Man-O-War block. This block is special because of the extra material for not only strength but modification purposes for strokers and such. On top of that, the cylinders are secured with 16 extra bolts making for 6 bolts around each cylinder. That means chamber pressures can skyrocket with no ill affects. That means big blower and/or nitrous combos. Also, this new block is supposed to be able to support 650 naturally aspirated horses conservativly. However, this dude I know up in Jackson that builds racing engines says the actual number is closer to 800 HP and cubic inches approaching 450ci out of a small block Ford. For reference, most 302 blocks will not go much past 450-500 horses NA without serious modifcations.

Yeah, that'll be a wee beasty of a crate engine!

May as well have the DADDY of all Ford big blocks !

or try the Shelby casting, with TWO cross bolts on each side, with the usual top bolts, and good for over 1000 hp.

If you want to spend lots of money, this is the way to do it. Get used to the smell of burning rubber, :-)
