Anybody know what a Bentley Continental GT will run?

I know it can scoot to 60 a tad faster than I can but once I got halfway through 2nd gear, I started walking away from him. I let off at about 110 because I knew I was past a 1/4 mile by then and I was more than doubling the speed limit. He flew by me after that but when I pulled back up next to him at the next light, he seemed real pissed off.

I don't know why. Unless he's pissed off that his $230K supercar got bested by a $32K pickup truck? It's his fault. He wanted to tangle with me and he was unrelentless. I just wanted him to go away but he was the one egging me on for about 4 miles. We both hit a red light at the same time and he was reving his engine and honking his horn. The light turned green and I just took off, beat him on the hole shot and just kept my foot in it for a few seconds. He caught me real quick and got half a car length. I thought for sure he would have walked away from me but if it was at the dragstrip, I probably would have beat him by almost 2 car lengths. I know they got something like 550 horses but they are porkers too at over 5200 pounds. They will do 198 MPH but I can't find 1/4 mile times anywhere or gearing numbers either. If I had that, I'd be able to get a rough 1/4 mile time.

Cool so if I did get a good jump on him then I would have beat him fair and square! His RT was way slow, I wa sa car length and a half ahead of him by the time he moved off the line. We'd be neck and neck at the end of the track. He'd have a slight advantage but poor driving could negate that pretty quickly.

they are AWD drive, but most probably won't load up the car to get a great launch.... did you load that video? it sounds like a jet, twin turbo w12!

Not really. I think it was more tire whine than the turbos. They don't make a whole lot of noise. The Lightning's blower whine is much more audible than that thing's turbos were. Then again, I would expect a Bentley to be a bit more understated than a Ford pickup truck with the biggest engine they could shoe-horn in there and then strap a blower on top. It doesn't exactly scream elegant refinement. More like "GET THE HELL OUTTA MY WAY NANCY BOY!"

That is until it blows a tire like it did this morning.

That's it? My Camaro SS A4 went 13.01@107 bone stock! I know it had a high 12 in it like it was, but by the next time I had it at the track I had already added Mac headers and went 12.70's@110 on Nittos!
