Two of the five rear bolts to mount thr rim on are

It's a stretched 78 Malibu Classic with a pickup truck bed on the back and station wagon springs.
Gotta be more specific on what you want to know.

My question is simple, you know were you mount the rim & tire on. Their should be five bolts that hold the rim & tire on the axel, two are missing. Does any one know how I can fix this problem, can I weld new bolts on?
Thanks for any help.

Dude, they are wheel studs. Go to Pep Boys or AutoZone and get new ones. You can either pound the broken ones out with a hammer and something like a punch to get it out or take it to a shop with a press and have them do it.
If they are missing, just get new wheel studs and either get them pressed in or pound them in with a hammer.

Thanks john, Im fixing up the car since I just bought it.
The help I get hear is what motivates me to build up old cars and give them new life.
I never plan to make a profit, I do it because I really enjoy it.

Hooked up the electric choke on my carb. today. For some reason the previos owner disconected the choke, the also removed the air conditioning. I twarm up better with the choke, now I will have to reset the carbs air bleed/ idle I will try the vacuum gauge since I dont have a o2 exaust tester. I forgot though is it in park or drive when you tune the idle mix?

Tuning idle, it doesn't matter if it's in park or drive. Idle is idle. However, when in drive, it changes your actual idle speed because the engine is under load. Leave it in park or neutral and let idle and set it that way.
