LT1 bolt ons for speed

I have a 93' trans am that I have just installed 52mm throttle body /headers and "fastchip" computer chip. I was expecting to feel a big differance, but it almost feels like I've lost my bottom end torque . Does this make sense ? My next step is to install 373 gears, but it seems I'm throwing money away. Thanks for any help. John

You may have lost a bit because of the increased air flow with the headers, but you gained up top. Is the car a six speed? If so you can do a converter. The gears will be great! If you have a Six speed I recommend 4.10s. 3.73 for an automatic.
