Does anyone else have a problem with us withdrawing our troops from iraq?
I dont want to see our troops in harms way but I think If they leave too soon
it will be a huge mistake......
Am I heartless?
I've been told I am heartless for not wanting our troops home yet...
I have great respect for our military and the job they do....
I do not think there is any good solution for the problems in iraq but leaving early and giving it over to iran can not be good for anyone...

Don't leave until the job is done. Also, setting a timeline is STUPID! It just tells the enemy when to plan their major offensive.

Well, you already know how I feel about this. I agree with you 100%. I don't like seeing our boys die over there, but we can't just pull out. The job is not finished yet! This is how it should be...

Iraq<---------->U.S.

Of course, I don't like the idea of leaving before the job is finished.
Someone very close to me re-enlisted (not after doing his four years, but after retiring!), specifically, to go to Iraq!
The dems are so out of touch with reality, it's scary!

BRING THEM HOME.... Ya just can't get 'em home fast enough for me...

Once the job is done, and not a moment sooner, PERIOD!

The only real problem I have with them being there all this time is, we could simply nuke the place and call it a day. I believe in FULL POWER when at war. As has been said many times over, you don't go into war with what you want, you go with what you have... We HAVE nuclear weaponry. We could end this war in 2 days by showing our real force and proving we're serious once and for all. These damned politicians pussyfooting around are not impressing me. Those who call for withdrawal one moment prior to the completed job shouldn't expect my vote OR my respect in the future.

Perhaps that's heartless... War ain't for sissies.

I know, that's one thing that's disappointed me about Bush. Bush can say something is going to take hard work and a lot of deaths to complete. Churchill could make that look glamorous.

I can't believe some of the Democrats had been criticizing Bush for not having a decisive plan to win the war - haven't they ever heard "No plan survives contact with the enemy?"

The time to bring your troops home is when you've won.
