New vette owner (almost)

Ordered and waiting for delivery of '07 vette - 'vert/Z51/MN6/white/cashmere int/beige top

Any comments, suggestions, safe mods, etc., are welcome. I would like to at least try drag racing a few times, I never did it at a track with timeslips. Haven't pulled to the line in ..... let's say half my age and leave at that. Haven't drove a stick in as long. I heard some tracks don't allow convertibles to race without a ROPS, but the one near me does. Cost $15.00 to run 1/8.
I can hardly wait to drive that car.
