Any comments, help, advice about C6/07 'vette MN6/Z51/convertible?
Which mods are safe for everyday driver?
What is considered "good gas"?
Are roll loops adequate protection?
Will they meet standards at drag racing tracks?
Should I attend a "corvette" driving school?

Thanks in advance

Well, it all depends on how far you want to go with your "daily driver" mods. A lot of people have big cams, heads, big converters, gears, ETC... on their daily drivers. If you mean stuff that won't really change the drive ability, then consider things like a cat back, maybe headers, high flow air intake... that kind of stuff. 6 speeds love 4:10's

You need to be running 93 octane in your LS2. Use a major brand.

Don't know much about roll loops. You shouldn't need a roll cage unless your track is real strict and you break 12's. I've heard of a few that make you have one if you break 14.0!

I wouldn't worry about a driving school unless you can't drive for crap!

NHRA rules state that if you run faster than 13.49 you need a rollcage in a convertible.
4.10's in a six speed are great and going 70 instead of seeing 1600 rpm in 6th you will see about 1900 rpm while in 6th. You will see a decrease of about 1 to 2 mpg.
Get a tune, exhaust, headers, gears and be done with it.
That will put you looking at a solid mid to low 12 second 1/4 mile car.
