Been thinking of doing an ignition smackdown...

One thing that I hope to do sometime in the next couple months is a really crazy ignition shootout. I plan to fit the Dart with a bunch of different ignition systems and do a dyno shootout. I've already got an MSD 6 box and a GM HEI ignition, and I'm also planning to run a Ford EDIS-6. And I plan on bringing a couple other ignition systems to the battle, like the coils from a Mitsubishi 3000 GT, LS1 coil packs, and maybe a Toyota VAST.

But I was thinking maybe I should bring a couple other systems too. I've got a few requirements for what I can bring. First, it must be something with an ignition module that is computer controlled but not built into the computer itself (ironically, this prevents me from using any Chrysler ignition!). Second, it must not have a Hall effect or optical pick-up built into the module, which rules out the Ford TFI. Any you'd like to see me test?

So that rules out the Optispark eh

What about the DIS coilpacks from a GM V6.
I think you pretty much covered most of em.
