It's still far from running, but here's a shot of what I've got now.

Words cannot decribe how cool I think that is.

awesome! What kind of hp numbers are you expecting / what was it rated at from the factory?
Posted by: MadScientistMatt
Well, with some luck it may be a 15 second car with no internal engine work. The engine was rated at 145 hp / 215 lb-ft of torque stock, but that's using SAE Net numbers. I think that in today's numbers, the stock rating would be around 110 hp / 185 lb-ft. Desktop Dyno thinks it will make 245 hp @ 4,000 RPM and 366 lb-ft @ 3,000 RPM with just the intake, exhaust, and turbo setup, but I think it's being a bit optimistic.

Hey Matt, are you using this from slantsix.org?

Hurry up and get that thing together. I wanna see it run.

RCowan, I'm using the exhaust manifold and turbo you see in the link you posted - the rusty one, not the Jet Hot coated one. Bought it from Wayne when he wound up selling his Dart. The Offy intake manifold is also pictured on that page.

Fuck! Never noticed this!!! Iv'e heard of them runnin high 14's or so with the BBD carb!!!
Posted by: MadScientistMatt
14's with a BBD? That's pretty impressive - I think those only flow 280 cfm, unless someone's put a lot of work into opening it up. Or maybe he's using two of them?
Posted by: DODGE_MAIN
It's on one of them sites ya posted about three boards back. Yeah the best way to fix a BBD is with a big hammer! Just removing the choke flap probly jumps it up another fuckin billion cfm LOL! oh and then there is the usual gap in the carb body that's gotta be good for a few xtra cfm too! ROFLMFAO!

Matt that is so fucking cool!!! It should be awesome when all done.

Holy crap. Maybe I should do that twin turbo setup they show with the triple Weber carb mainfold once everything else is done
But that's just crazy talk............or is it...
