Block Fill

Has anyone had any experience fillng a 400 small block or any block half full with block fill.What I am trying to find out is how does it affect the temperature the engine runs.If this is done can it be drove on the street any with out running hot.Thanks

If you are gonna fill it and drive it on the street, only fill to the bottoms of the freeze plugs.

It will run hotter but not that much. On the street though, you will notice a difference. Especially if you sit in any sort of traffic. Since you live in Georgia, heat is an issue there if you are gonna use block fill.

For a car that will see street duty, I wouldn't even bother doing the fill. If you are race only, go for it.
